    Find an older sedan e46 at the junk yard and get the complete left and right side door harness and mirror module in the doors and a pair of older 12 pin mirrors. Also get the gm5 module. (Our cars have Lin Bus High gm5 modules and you want the older non Lin Bus module). Install everything, code the gm5 module with your vin number and defaults for ev53 chassis and then it should work.

    But then the question is, what features are lost by going to an older GM...

    I have some coding features I'm quite fond of that I don't think the older cars have.

    What coding features are you quite fond of that you a worried you would lose?

    Non Lin Bus sedan still has the comfort features with the keyfob and the windows, alarm etc

    You would lose power fold option unless you installed E46 m3 mirror modules on both sides and the gm5 detected then on the kbus system then power fold comes back as an option at long as the vo for power fold is set in the kmb and lsz
