LF: facelift headlights

What If I bought the AL headlights and kept them stock and original. How is the light output minus the fuzzy cutoff . I can't see anything at night right now and I'm sure anything will be an improvement

I would spend a night and throw ZKW lenses in. If you end up using AL as is which is still a huge difference over burnt out ZKWs, PM me your price for ZKW lenses please.

I don't recall having to do this the first time I retrofitted my lights to M3 AL's... I thought the M3 AL's were similar to sedan ones, no?

Then your lenses aren't seated right: lenses won't go all the way into the cradle unless you shave down the notch. Coupe uses the same cradle for the lens.

I did the zkw lens swap from a burnt set of zkw headlights into AL headlights.

Direct replacement with no issues.

Hey, can you post more pics? What part did you have to unscrew? Looks pretty strsight forward. How was the output after the zkw lens swap compared to before ?

Here is a before and after pic.

The AL lens is cloudy while the zkw is clear.

Highly recommend doing the swap.

It was definitely done properly; nice sharp cutoff, everything fit right in.

I have FX-R's now so the cutoff is even better.
