Hey Guys,
First time, long time;
I have been looking for wheels for a while now, frustrated. I want something period correct so I am limited to searching and searching. I have only wanted 18's.
Well today, I came up on an amazing deal, however they are 19x8.5 et38 square. I have been researching for 2 days, and for the life of me, can not find a e46 sedan matching this fitment on record. I have found close, but not exactly. I admit, I am a bit slow when it comes to analyzing wheel fitment, and prefer a wrench in my hand.
Yes, I have read the fitment guide.
Yes, I have used the wheel calculator.
From what I can tell, they should work. I just need piece of mind to rest assured before the purchase.
Is this proper logic?
Researching from rear stock (et51) to et38, its inner clearance is additional 13mm, outer push toward lip is additional 13mm.
Front stock et47, additional 9mm inner clearance, outer push toward fender lip is additional 9mm.
I need to make a decision by tmrw or the wheels will fall to another buyer in line behind me.
