    NEW ZHP OWNER IN SOCAL!

I am the proud owner of an 05 black on black ZHP. Purchased from an older gentleman who took great care of the car. Came with a ton of service records. Recently took it to BMW for an oil change was told by the service advisor the technicians did not find any issues, that was a huge relief to hear. Anyways, unfortunately I sacrificed the 6MT for an AT, I was looking for a black on black been waiting for months. I found a 6MT with 165K miles we agreed on a price of 7K unfortunately it did not pass smog (Gotta love Cali and their strict smog emission laws). Settled for my 05 with leather interior with only 119K miles for a purchase price of 8K. Love my ZHP it is my weekend car even though not a 6MT still a fun car to drive! Please share your thoughts.

Thank you. My daily is nothing special 2015 F-150. The ZHP is for when the wife and I go out on date. My weekender was a 04 IS 300 but decided to give it to my son, after gifting him the IS, I decided my to look for my next baby and decided on the ZHP!

Welcome! Love black zhp's. A few of us in SoCal, maybe you could join us for a maintenance day (although those are few and far between). Any mod plans?

    Welcome, it looks great!

I’ve always liked the original IS300, so I’m curious to hear your comparisons as you get more seat time.

I loved the IS 300 they are amazing cars, sleek, sporty, and very fun to drive however, it doesn’t compare to the BMW! I can honestly tell you I prefer the ZHP over the IS any day.

As far as mods, the car is way too beautiful as is I’m afraid to mess with the OEM look and feel. I think maybe in the future suspension and aftermarket rims.
