Good point!. I see at the original manufacturer's site though, that grease must be applied between hub and spacer:

"Once the surface has been cleaned, either anti-seize or grease must be applied to the hub to prevent corrosion from forming" from http://www.velocitymotorcars.com/bmw-wheel-spacers.html

So I looked up the wonderful sticky on the wheels and Fitment at the top of this section (Thanks to DW Boss).

I plugged in the info from my 119s with 47 mm offset 8" and then those wheels in my first post above at the http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp website.

Results tell me I loose 9 mm inside and stick out 3 mm out.

Does that mean I need the spacers (if I loose 9 mm inside)?

If you have less than 9mm clearance inner...then yes.
