    Using M-Contours as Winter Tires

    Hi all,

Finally got my '05 ZHP Coupe registered and inspected. I am in New York City, so while we did not get much snow the past season, I want to be ready for anything. I just bought a set of M-Contours, three of them set up with Blizzaks, 225/50. By the looks of it, The current size seems too big to fit my wheel wells. Either way, because only three of them have tires, I'm gonna have to take them all off anyways.

Any suggestions to tire sizing? I'm not 100% with my knowledge on tires, but any help would be much appreciated!

On second look, these don't look like actual M-Contours, but the Light Weight Alloy Style 23s that were given through the winter wheel accessory package. I measured the wheels with a tape measure from rim edge to rim edge, and it seems as if the diameter sits around 18in, while if I just go from inside to inside, the diameter sits around 17in.

Just not sure on all of this, still trying to get my feet into the automotive world.

    Thanks!

I thought style 23 was M-Contours? Are they replicas?

Any pictures of the wheels? Any writing on the wheels?

No pictures at the moment, but to be honest, I was quite spooked when I first saw them. After looking through, this thread really clarified things for me.

If those are the wheels, then here are the tire sizes I would recommend:
    205/50R17 or 225/45R17

Thanks! I think I will be going with the 225/45R17's since we haven't been getting insane levels of snow here in a while.
