Hey guys, my name is Chris and I'll tell ya a little about me and my car. I've been living and teaching English in Korea for the past nine years and I just moved back to the States. Over the past few years I became really interested in the E46, especially the M3 and I knew I had to get one when I returned to the States.

A couple months ago I came across an 06 ZHPci 6MT in Sparkle Graphite Metallic on Craigslist with 100,200 miles for $6,800. I thought that seemed like a great deal and way under my M3 budget so I checked it out. The car spent most of its life in California and only had a couple thousand miles put on it the last couple years in Washington. It had a clean carfax, came with a folder of service records, a BMW car cover in the trunk and it just looked really clean. So I sent my parents to go look at it and pick it up if it was good. They picked it up and then I had to wait two long, agonizing months before I could drive it. In that time, I found this place and I've already learned a lot from you guys, so thanks!

I returned to the States last week and the first thing I wanted to do was drive my ZHP. I absolutely love it! It doesn't have any major issues and it drives really smooth. I can tell this car was cared for. It does have a little VCG leak, but that seems to be the only thing wrong with it now.

Now comes the maintenance! I don't intend on getting a job for a while and my only real concern is making sure my car is well sorted. I've already started ordering parts and I will make another post in the maintenance section to post my progress and ask for advice. I've only changed oil, rotated tires and installed car stereos before, but I'm looking forward to the challenge.

Thanks for having me and I'll leave you guys with some pictures if I can figure it out...haha

    Chris
