A while back I bought a mirror with the wrong (old) pin connector. I found out the hard way that this does not work with my 2004 ZHP sedan.
I assume I need a mirror that has the following connector pictured below?
Could you confirm my understanding that I need the mirror with the WHITE RIBBON cable shown on the bottom picture?

Yes, ZHPs all used the ribbon cable style (the 2nd pic).

Shawn was generous enough to send me a photo for the ZHP mirrors showing the correct plugs.
What is the red plug in addition to the white? I've only seen mirrors with the single white plug.
Please advise.

The other plug is probably auto dimmer, or maybe a defog feature.
