Since I am currently working remotely from home, that means the laptop goes into the garage and I can tinker with the assembly of the car.

Installed the ccv system, intake gaskets, iacv grommet and connected the fuel line. Then the intake manifold got put back on the engine.

While I wait for the next shipment from fcpeuro, I will run a vacuum hose for the o2pilot mod and get throttle body and iacv back on. Also need to install the front sway bar with the new bushings

Made significant progress. All cooling components, tensioners and belts and anything else on the front of the engine.

Waiting for my second radiator to arrive (first one was bent) and then I can button up the cooling system and intake.

Underside the exhaust got removed as well to replace the broken studs. Starting to move towards the back of the car and replace anything else that is preventative.

Got the cooling system finished up today and filled it with distilled water. Started the car up with no exhaust and did a drain and refill twice before filling the system with bmw blue coolant. Some strange green stuff came out so glad it's back to factory coolant.

Tackling the rear part of the car now with replacement of the rtab, sway bar links/bushings and rear brake overhaul.

I am at the point where this car is starting to kick my arse.

The rear suspension is nothing but frustrating with removing bushings. I started with replacing the rtab and they were just seized in the trailing arms. After applying heat and penetration fluid, I got one side replaced.

The other side would not budge so I ended up removing the complete trailing arm assembly. With it out of the car, I was able to remove and replace the rtab. However the wheel bearing is bad but the axle is seized in the hub. Even with heat and penetration fluid it is not budging so I will take it to a shop that has a press to remove the axle and the hub/bearing. I need to invest in a press for the garage at some point.

But every single bushing in the rear suspension is just past it's life cycle.

I'll share some pics but this has been a learning experience for sure.
