Yeah for real. I just want a test drive and a track day with it.

Btw I removed the hard coolant pipes and right away noticed the issue. The 2 o-rings on the upper pipe were not seated properly hence the coolant leak. I knew they were tight upon installation but I used silicone spray. So who knows what gives.

Got the intake manifold back on and everything else in the bay.

Waiting on parts from fcpeuro now for the rear and have a lead on a trailing arm/hub assembly.

Bought a used set of non rusted trailing arm/hub assembly for dirt cheap.

Next up is the rebuild them. I got new dust shields, bearings, hubs, parking brake assembly and rotors. Also will replace the rtab and the upper and lower bushings for the control arms. Also got new lower control arms as well.

    Wish me luck

Damn having just seen how my dust shields were, those are beautiful. Normally I'm a 100% DIY guy, but I may have to consider having a shop do the rear wheel bearings when it comes time for it, after seeing what you've been through

If you decide to diy it, I bought the bmw wheel bearing tool kit. It allows to press out the bearings and install them and the hub. I couldn't imagine doing it without it.
