They are cramped in there. Sensor 1 is next to the firewall and that is more difficult to remove then sensor 2. You have to remove the brake hard line out of the way to be able to put a 27mm wrench on the sensor. And remove everything quickly to loose as little brake fluid as possible.

i have the occasional ABS error every a month or two, but haven't tackled this yet. 50sKid had a pretty good video on getting it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvyVCwCAx1Q&t=448s

Did you find it similar to what he did? That's the way I had planned to do it when I tackle it. I bought then entire master cylinder with the DSC and sensors attached off eBay in 2018. Still on the shelf

That is one way to do it but if the DSC unit itself is not bad, then I don't see the need to replace it. Plus you have to code it to the vehicle afterwards.

I would start off with a full brake fluid bleed and clean the abs sensors on each corner of the vehicle.

Roughly 75k on these spark plugs. What do you guys think? Ngk states they are roughly a 100k mile replacement.

I put it a fresh new set since I feel like they were due for replacement

Good idea to replace the set. Your car will run better.

One other issue I was having was not being able to fill up the gas tank fully.

I installed a new genuine bmw vent valve that sits underneath the intake manifold and that allowed me to fill up the tank without the nozzle clicking off. It looked like it was replaced before with a Vaico brand.

However the gas gauge was showing the incorrect reading. So a gauge cluster reset did the trick and now the issue is resolved.

Hopefully these are the last mechanical issues and I can move on to refreshing the cosmetic items.

Nice! That's gotta feel like you just rolled off the dealer's lot in 2004. You want me to burn you a mix CD?
