Do they replace the trim pieces if they break them?

Is there a way to know if the trim pieces were broken but decide to just place a tape behind the trims?

called back a few hours later and scheduled without any issue, they stated it was going to be 2 hours to do the work haha.

    so frustrating.

It's weird how variable it is. They said mine will take 30 mins today.

Got mine done today, and for the first time, I didn’t want my ZHP back. They gave me a brand new 2020 M340i as a loaner; G–damn, that car is fast! 382hp, 369lb-ft of torque and a LSD make for one fun sedan.

I drove one of those at an autocross event that BMW put in my neck of the woods. They definitely have an addicting amount of power and torque that I wish my car had, but when I got back in my car, I didn't really envy the rest of the M340i.

    To each their own.

Y'all got loaners? They told me it would be 45 minute wait and didn't have a loaner for me to rip around in while I waited. Ended up taking two hours

When i called to set up the appointment the lady who answered told me a loaner wasn’t offered because it was only a 1-1.5 hour job but i didn’t feel like sitting there idle so i told her it’s not my fault the car is defective and that I’d be needing a loaner. She immediately agreed to it without any pushback.

There were definitely some things I didn’t like; The seats were not as comfortable as the ZHP, and the size - it felt really big. The hood line was noticeably higher from the cockpit. Exhaust note was surprisingly good though for a turbo 6...
