She immediately agreed to it without any pushback.
That's interesting because when I set up my appointment to have my M3 serviced later this month, I had no problem having a loaner set up for when I took my car in for this recall service. They asked me if I required a loaner and I immediately said yes and they told me I would have one when I took my car in.

You've got to know how to play the game with regards to loaners.
For me it's not deliberate; the only time I can take my car in is after work, which is after 4 pm. They won't do the work on the car by the time they receive it (probably after 5 pm after all is said and done) so I always end up with a loaner overnight.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Truth! Scheduling the work enough in advance has always put us in a loaner.

I finally called and scheduled the repair for my wife's sedan.
Touring is a bit different case. It is Canadian VIN and dealers cannot see it in the database. So, I am working directly with BMW of NA. I've done some paperwork and waiting to hear back.

Good point John. I have the rare ALU Tech interior trim on my M3. I will pull this off the night before taking my car in for the service...

I put painter's tape on the trim to help avoid them scratching it during the last recall. Have never removed the trim before. Is it difficult (too lazy to Google morning!)?

It's really not. Just use a non-mar too and pop them off, carefully.
