I think the last BMW that came close to the essence of the ZHP was a M-package 125i/128i with the 6 speed and no iDrive or other unnecessary gadgets.

We got rid of my wife's F30 automatic xDrive & put her in an Estoril Blue 228i 6-speed manual!
2006 330ci ZHP - Silbergrau Metallic / Stoff Laser/Anthrazit / Alu Black Cube trim / Adaptive Xenon headlights / HK hi-fi system / heated front seats
My wife recently moved from a 428i auto Vert to a M235i auto Vert. I’ve had it out on some twisty back hills and it does well BUT, you need to be in the correct mode.
It does have Gobb’s of power and road glue in sport + but, that takes planing. In the ZHP, it’s just a madder of knowing the gear for the road/driving environment.

the 2 series GC is ugly as shit lol
It looks too short in length and too tall.
I thought BMW had stopped the Grand touring stuff.
