    3D Printed Parts for Family

    06/15/20 Update:
As of right now, I am not taking any orders at least till November of this year. I do not have an access to the printer due to my long trip. I am not sure what is the future on my end to accept any order going forward. The post will be updated in November for sure.

    Hey Friends,

I would like to offer some 3D printed parts for the members and make a contribution to the great forum.

    Full disclosure.

I am not a professional additive manufacturing specialist and I am not an automotive engineer. I am doing it in my spare time as a hobby. With that said, if you want to get any of those 3D printed parts from the list, please note that you are getting them at your own risk. Neither me or zhpmafia.com are responsible for any safety related issues, including injuries or property damage.
Warranty: I am providing a 1 year warranty for all parts for any mechanical failures.
I am not trying to make any money for printing parts, I just want to cover some cost for material and my time for printing, prepping and shipping these parts.

    How to buy
Reply in this thread and state what you are interested in obtaining.
Please send me a PM with the shipping zip code, so I can estimate the shipping.
I will follow up with the shipping and provide a lead time.
Payment options: Paypall or Venmo. My Paypal - zvezdoff@yahoo.com. Venmo - Sergey-Zvezdov. For Paypall, please cover the fee if you are not using “friends/family” option.

Below is the list of parts that I can offer.

    1. M3 mirror motor adapters. Available in stock - 4.
This part is needed if you want to retrofit M3 mirrors. You will get two sets, so you will have one to install and one as a backup. There are 3 melted brass inserts with an M3 threaded hole. I have them installed on my car and I do not have any issues in therms of fitment, alignment or functionality.
Cost - $15 for one set + shipping.

    2. Jack pad adapter for Harbor Freight hydraulic jack (item 62326). Available in stock - 4.
This adapter will work with a 3 ton low profile jack that has a 3.5” pad. I think there are other models that have a smaller pad.
I have been using this part for almost 2 years and there are zero concerns. I designed the part such that it has many 100 um packed layers of plastic to make sure it will not be compressed by the weight of the car. I used it 50+ times on my cars doing maintenance and plastic is not compressed or deformed at all.
    Cost - $10 + shipping

    Parts that are in development:
    3. Gruppe M intake support bracket.
    4. ZHPMafia custom licence plate frame
    5. Cup holder that will be mounted on the door card.

All parts were designed and printed by me. I am using Onyx as the filament for the printer. Here is more information if you are curious about its properties: https://markforged.com/materials/onyx/ This material is great and I have easily printed 30 parts on various household items.
I am happy to answer all the questions.
    Thank you for the interest.

Thank you. I am slow with this process due to the family/work time management. I hope to have it ready early in August along with Gruppe M bracket.

Here's an idea for the license plate frame. Depending on the material used to print, you can acetone vapour smoothen it which eliminates 90-95% of the ridges created by the layers from FDM printing. That way it'll be nearly as smooth as injection-molded mass-produced plate frames sold on the market.

Thank you for the idea. I am not familiar with this method, but definitely look at.
