Typical cheap part here, falling off as you can hopefully see in the photo.
Do I have to get a whole new part, is there a simple way to clip it back in and stay, or should I just epoxy and be done with it?
I'll epoxy if there's no reason to ever take off this panel...

Pull up on that part and remove, then reglue. Had this happen last year.

The vinyl has shrunk on the side of the rear panel on our '00 328i. You will want to remove the panel & re-glue the vinyl with contact cement. Don't epoxy anything - you might need to remove the panel to get into the seat later.
