Inside door side plastic piece clips

You see how it's curling away from the clips?

Meaning even with new clips, there'll be constant pressure away from the door causing possible detachment again.

Should I risk using a heat gun or some other temperature related technique to fix this, or will the replacement clip be strong enough to overcome this ....

i feel like the replacement clips might be strong enough. But I would just bend it back if it looks like it won't work. I would probably just weigh it down with something and leave it in the sun and let it flatten out on it's own lol Less work for me.
