As much as I love the e92, I also miss my old (sold) e46 too. - For that reason, I've been (casually) looking for a nice e46 wagon though
I like the E28, but can’t justify much more than what I already have. I’m glad you like them. Good luck with the search.

Welcome. Love the Z3M! We’re looking at a e91 328xiT to possibly replace my wife’s Outback. How do you like it? Any issues? I’m trying to stay away from the turbo charged BMWs.

    Thank you.

We love our e92 328. In fact my soon-to-teen daughter has her eye it for when she gets her driver's license.. ;-)

On serious note, yes I would definitely recommend any e90/91/92/93 with ported fuel injection, probably more so on later models (e.g., LCIs).

BMW also extended warranty on them (SULEV) but not on the direct injection with turbo models. I was able to locate the warranty info for the 2011 e92 328. - I believe the coverage varies from year and model too.

Cool. It's a 09 in Colorado with the N52K engine and only 68k miles..with the sports package. Pretty cool touring.

I actually have the complete SULEV warranty document in pdf format, and I'm not sure how to upload it on a forum. So I can send it to you for a peace mind if PM me your email.

Anyhow, you won't be disappointed (assuming that the car was well maintained). Btw, I have a soft spot for touring models.

Doesn't matter. They wouldn't let me put a deposit on it and they sold it yesterday. So, still in the hunt. Some decent options out there. Actually found another in Chicago, but again they won't let me put a deposit on it because there are other people interested. Which, as frustrating as it is for me, I understand.

Thanks. I consider myself more of an enthusiast vs collector. I have the one I like the most and think I am done for now. No garage queen; I drive them all regularly.
