I have a used set of Black Gloss/Piano Black Sedan trim. I’m sure that can be used for Carbon Fiber overlay as well is anyone needs a set. PM me if interested.

I don't think you could use this with oCarbon. I think it's plastic still.

Isn’t the wood trim plastic as well? I thought they were the same just different appearance?

No. Wood trim actually has wood on it lol it's like a wood veneer on top of a plastic backing plate.

Couple more pics from oCarbon. Epoxy is now done and will be sanded and then followed with the clearcoat.

Looking good, it's nice how the epoxy appears to self-level for the most part, so it's just a wet layup sans bagging. Wouldn't be too difficult to DIY, you could buy fabric and epoxy resin, then wet sand and finish off with 2K clear

It's 6K 20oz carbon fiber. He upgraded the carbon quality for me so he could take some good pictures for the website. It's the same look as traditional carbon, but it has twice as much individual strands of carbon woven into it, so it has a nice thick and tight weave.

Nice, yeah the close up of LCM piece was the only one where I thought it was 6K, but the far away pictures didn't look like it as much. But the pictures are kind of blurry. You mean it's still a 2x2 twill weave? I don't think there is a traditional carbon look. I consider 1x1 plain weave the traditional look which is what I have for all the black CF pieces on my car. Only my silver CF are 2x2.
