The front (OEM Euro) and rear bumpers are new a few months ago. The interior has had all the plastic replaced... I'm going to drive and enjoy it for the summer now.

In 2 weeks, It will go in for post paint correction and full ceramic.

Had the car appraised and switched to Haggerty insurance.

Next fall projects when the car comes off the road:

    - redo the seats. Deciding on keeping it black or going with Natural Brown
    - Dinan stage 3 (Exhaust, intake, throttle body, stage 3 software) all on order (for 10+ months and counting)
    - May redo the radio setup, havent decided yet...
Do you mind sharing details about your respray? I have never done one, so I am curious as to the scope (e.g., entire exterior or just certain areas?), preparation (strip to bare metal or just fill/repair/sand as necessary) and cost (which obviously varies based on the first two responses). I have two low-mileage ZHP cabrios and while the paint on both is generally in good shape, a respray sounds very enticing. Thanks!

It wasn't a bare metal, restoration... It was more find a really good body shop, give them a bunch of money, tell them to make it look really good again lol. The car isn't going to be for shows etc... Just wanted it to look really nice again, but didnt want to go overboard disassembling the car completely etc. It looks fantastic now...

Just got the car back and wanted to share the amazing results. I had the leather replaced in my 2006 ZHP convertible by Prestige Auto Leather in Bridgeport, CT. The owner, Joni, did a spectacular job. My cabrio is a summer only car, so I dropped the car off at the end of summer, and told them to take their time... The results are in, and they are spectacular. New leather, new OEM seat cushions (got the last ones in stock in Germany), all new plastics and seat backs. I even replaced the silver cube trim, with brand new, OEM black cube trim. (The front trim pieces will be replaced when the radio HU comes out for those that caught it with a discerning eye)... The interior of the car is about as mint as it can be for a 16 year old vehicle...

I had it home for 10 minutes, then dropped it off at Sound-in-Motion in Boston for the winter, where it'll be getting an audio system to match the rest of this car's perfection... Enjoy!

Looks great! You kept the silver cube center console trim? How much did this run you, if you don't mind my asking.

Good eye! Also the 3 dash trim pieces are still the silver cube... I have the rest of the new black cube trim in a box waiting to be installed... I will replace them soon, no worries... The car has move to Sound-in-Motion for the stereo upgrade. They'll be ripping the dash apart, so will just install black cube trim then when piecing the car back together...

BTW, SIM has a pretty good IG site. My car was on their story yesterday as they begin the months long process of installing the stereo and a few other goodies...

The system for those interested will be:
    Avin3 with wireless CarPlay
    Mosconi amps
    Dynaudio speakers
custom sub/rack enclosure in ski pass...

The goal is to not know anything is there...
