    Omg... I thought it was actual "forged carbon" wrap. That is just..... horrendous

    Alpine ZHP

    I was test fitting my apex today , do you guy think a need a spacer ? Barely enough clearance between caliper and rim







    The black wheels are VMR they definitely have a better stance/more aggressive look, but the apex are much lighter.

    I’m thinking if I should run spacers on the apex to make them flush with the fenders

    I mean clearance is clearance but a small spacer wouldn't hurt. I've had success with these lil guys:

    Agreed, it looks better without the carbon fiber. It's all down to taste.

    I always found carbon fiber should be used sparingly or in the spirit of weight savings. True carbon fiber roof? Cool, lower center of gravity, better handling, increases libido by 15%. Carbon fiber emblems? I doubt you're saving anything more than single digit grams, if any.
