    New ZHP owner and member

Just purchased a 2004 330i zhp mt 145k miles. Silver with black alcantara interior. I'm in the greater Seattle area. Migrating from a 1999 z3m roadster 57 k miles. Wanting more of a daily driver. Looking forward to getting to know the car. Car came with cold air intake, ss headers and 364 differential. Never drove one with the 307 original diff. Thoughts on this set-up? Thanks and looking forward to being a member in this community.

Welcome! 3.64 diff... how is it on the highway? I tend to cruise around 140 km/h on the highway (~86 mph) so having the stock 3.07 is quite nice as it keeps engine speed reasonable

At 75 mph rpm's are at about 3300. Thinking of putting the 307 diff back in and see how it feels.

Welcome. The car will feel less lively. slower acceleration. That's about it. But you will get better mpg for highway driving and a higher top speed.

    Welcome.

I have a .364 diff in my touring, but it has the 5 speed manual. I can say that the RPMS are too high for highway cruising, but I imagine with the 6th overdrive speed, that it should be OK. I plan to start addressing that issue on my touring with a 6 speed, so I will know first hand eventually, but I am very interested in your impressions of that set-up as you spend some time with it.

    Cheers!
