Spoke with adjustor and he said that he needs to verify that I do have the performance package. I said I will gonto dealership and have them run the VIN. He said that is not a real accurate way to find out. He wants me to take pics of the specific parts on the car???? So if I had a 323i and buy zhp parts he will then value my car as ZHP. My insurance is progressive insurance. I looked at my paperwork folder for the car and I have this.

...the VIN isn't accurate? Do they think it is a dealer-added package?

Sorry to hear OP, your insurance sounds dumb. Hopefully it shouldn't be too hard to convince them by showing the bumpers and cube trim

I loathe insurance companies of any kind. Most aren't about taking care of their customer and try to minimize the financial cost on their end. In my personal experiences, nothing is ever as easy or stress-minimizing as it probably should be.
