    ZHP Suspension Questions

    Hi All,

So I sold my 05 330ci ZHP 6 speed recently and I am getting my other 05 330ci ZHP (auto) ready for sale and the suspension feels fine, but it feels like possibly a control arm or tie rod is starting to go (car has 88K), my other coupe had 129k and was fine on the stock original suspension. I feel like mileage is not always an indicator, as suspension wearing is more dependent on where you are driving the car. Anyhow, can someone please confirm these are indeed the OEM struts/shocks and control arms? I like the OEM feel, do not want Koni. I wanted to get them ahead of time, even though they may not be needed as my mechanic will let me use my own parts (save me a few bucks) and I can always return the unused parts.

    Thanks.

So there's a good thread discussing OEM shocks: http://www.zhpmafia.com/forums/showt...M-SACHS-Setup)

As for that top kit, I believe that has the non-ZHP control arms? Someone will have to correct me if I'm wrong, but I think our control arms are part no. 31122341297 and 31122341828.

You are correct. These are the parts installed on my ZHP earlier this year.

Thanks, does Lemforder make the ZHP control arms or strictly BMW? Not sure why FCP would label them ZHP?

If not, I may just bite the bullet and order the two from ECS for ~$550 (I want OEM feel) and the rest of the suspension from FCP from that other thread BMWCurves linked me to.

    Realoem has this info:

    "31122282121 superseded by 31122341297. 31122282122 superseded by 31122341828".

For some reason FCP Euro has the old part numbers. Lemforder provides lots of parts for BMW, so I would be confident to buy the FCP Euro parts.
