    Anyone work for BMW/Mini?

I’ve been fighting a passenger occupancy sensor fault in the Fiancé’s 2009 Clubman S for months now. I ordered a occupancy and seatbelt emulator set off eBay that is known to work just fine. Both were installed by my Indy and tried different settings but we can’t get the airbag and seatbelt lights to go away.

There was an occupancy sensor recall but her car (even though a 2009 it has 58k miles) missed that recall by like 6-8 months on the time portion of that recall (pisses me off). The part is allegedly $1400ish through Mini. Anyone have a hook up at the dealer that can maybe get the part cheaper?

Would a bypass do the trick? It's not ideal but would make the light go away

That’s the purpose of the emulator that I’ve tried using, I reached out to the manufacturer one more time to try and troubleshoot the issue of it not working but I’m not hopeful

Hmm, maybe the ones you got are defective? Usually the bypass is just PnP. Plug them in, reset the codes and that's it.
