New member, looking for my first ZHP

I'm a long time BMW enthusiast. My first was an E30 318i that taught me a lot about DIY repairs and brought a lot of joy. I then had an E83 X3, which I got rid of too soon, taking a brief detour into VWs with a MkV GTI. I've wanted an E46 since they were new, and I've finally decided I'm old enough to just get the damn car I want! So I'm in the market for a ZHP sedan 6MT. Constant scouring of the interwebs identified one right in my own back yard, which I posted about in the general forum. I'm hoping to join the ranks of the Mafiosi soon, and look forward to being a member of the community.

That one is beautiful. The rust on the undercarriage scared me a little, but I love that color combination...

Thanks, Fredo. I saw from your build thread that you're in the Austin area? I'm in the middle of moving to New Braunfels. Maybe we can get together to drink beer in a garage and look at cars sometime...

You bet, that's a good plan. I'm in south Austin close to Buda.
