Alcantara Seat Cover - Part # and Options?

My 2003 6MT Sedan Driver's Alcantara seat bolster finally gave up the ghost - and has a small, and slowly growing hole. Part of me wants to just buy a new seat cover - if I can find one.
    - Does anyone know the part # for the Alcantara and Cloth seat cover for the seatback?
I wouldn't mind a new bottom seat cover if I could find the part number for that too?

I've heard BMW doesn't have these parts anymore - has anyone found them someplace else recently?

Other option i've found in the threads is getting some 9002 Alcantara from Gulf Fabrics, and going to a good auto upholsterer and letting them do their magic on the current seat cover. This looks a bit cheaper, but others have posted good results several years back.

    Ideas and comments appreciated...

You can find all your part #s at realoem.com. I don't see any Alcantara listed here:

EDIT - I didn't scroll down to the sport seat! Cloth "Laser"/anthracite is shown.

Your best bet is getting material & having a local upholsterer use your covers to recreate them. You might luck out & be able to find used seats or covers in decent condition, but they're almost 20 years old. Good luck!

I found a part number (BMW (52-10-7-890-416) in one of the E46 or ZHP forums, and I'm emailing with a parts supplier (BMW MINI Parts Depot) to see if they have the part and verify that its the right part. But I'm also checking on the price of Alcantara and the cost of work by a local automotive upholsterer.

Part of me wants the new part - even if its old stock, and part of me just wants it nice looking.

Of course I'm also putting on carbon fiber mirror covers and grills - its an 18 year old car after all, and the paint's fairly bad on and around the hood.

So maybe that's my next thread - carbon fiber wrap the hood? or do a whole respray in the original imola red.

Or just drive it another 10k miles and let the next owner restore it...

    Thanks!

Thanks John, that 's helpful. Had to disappear to deal with a funeral party, but looking back into this over the weekend.
