Anyone else think it's expensive for what it is?

What are some solid alternatives that aren't expensive?

I really love the Schmiedmann one (ACS replica): https://www.schmiedmann.com/en/bmw-E...oduct=T46M3FME I paid about $270 shipped.

Definitely solid though and not the lightest thing around.

Considering the price that BMWP strut bars go for used, I guarantee that’s what they based their pricing off of.

I'm glad I have two BMW Performance strut bars... but I have a very strong feeling that I will be ordering one of these for my M3...

Yeah, I bet Karb makes these a lot stronger than the BMWP bars. Best to not use the BMWP bars just in case they crack. If that happens, that'd be such a sad day!

That's why I have a spare BMW Performance carbon fiber strut bar at my place... for this occasion since I'm only using it on my M3. Since the Karbonius offering is reinforced where the strut bar is prone to crack as Botond's did, I would expect the strut bar to be much more durable while maintaining the look of the original BMWP carbon fiber strut bar.

Then I will have two BMWP carbon fiber strut bars sitting at my home.... perfect candidates for home decoration

    Thanks...

    From Karbonius:
Our bar should be stronger than the OE Performance bar, anyway people asked us for a controlled break zone, they are worried in case of a crash both towers could deform. I saw a lot of OE bars break and is due to less carbon fiber in that area ( in the middle ) we put more carbon fiber compared to the OE bar.
