V1 Mirror mount/hardwire with a Blendmount and a clown nose

I can't tell from Blendmount's website (and searching here and elsewhere) if the V1 radar detector mount will work with a non-auto dimming RVM.

For that matter, has anyone used their hardwire kit off the clown nose mirror successfully? Can't stand the cable from the V1 popping out of the crevice between the pillar and the windshield but I don't want to drop nearly $200 for something that isn't going to work the way I want it to.

I've shot an email to their support but wanted to know if any other ZHP owners have done similar.

Blendmount clamp will not mount to the ball and stem behind the rear view mirror properly. After a few tweaks and unclamping and clamping back, the mirror will not rotate or adjust to face the driver. Mirror only sits facing for a right hand driver and still non-adjustable. Not enough clearance for the clamp to mount properly. Or maybe the clamp is too thick.

Blendmount was the cause of my mirror being so lose that broke two fingers that hold the ball. I ended up having to returned and refunded. And have to purchase a new rear view mirror. Hence the thread that I opened on how to fix a drooping & floppy mirror.
