SHW Performance Brake Rotors - BMW Performance Replacement?

    Hey Fam,

I was browsing Tirerack and stumbled upon a new product release. These rotors look very similar to the discontinued bmw performance rotors that were available back in the day. Thoughts?

Instead of the conventional rotors, the center is aluminum for a weight reduction and increased cooling. Image below ( Even got an ///M logo )

    Manufacturer part numbers-
    Front Left - BFL48711
    Front Right - BFR48721
    Rear - BRX48731

    His - 2004 Imola Red / Alcantara 330i | 6MT | ZHP |

    Her's - 2005 Black Sapphire Metallic / Black Leather 330i | 6MT | ZHP |

Front BMW Performance rotors are not discontinued, you can still buy them at FCP for example: https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...or-34112282871

Still, very interesting find since it's a full set with the rears (which may very well be discontinued with how long they've been backordered). Thanks for sharing. I guess it's a little cheaper than the genuine unit, but not enough to justify an unknown brand IMO.

So, who's going to take the plunge for us?

    I’m surprised they have a M logo.

I've never heard of them (not that I'm an encyclopedia of car part brands) but they seem pretty legit if you believe what they put on their website.

I don't need new rotors at the moment but I wouldn't be opposed to giving them a shot next time I am looking for a new set.

Interesting. I like that the rear is also 2 pc vs. OE performance is just 1 pc. I'll try them out next time I do my brakes.

    edit:
After some research I see that they are used in a multitude of cars. The performance division's more popular rotors are on the Ford GT350 and Audi RS5 as a factory option. Also, they are located in Irvine, CA which is close to me. I wonder if I could just pick it up from them directly lol
