    Looks like you were right on the price - $74.99 - and considering my 20yr-old Sears jack (which must weigh at least 45lbs) is on its last legs, I may pick one up for that price too.

    Did you see somewhere that this price only lasts for a week?

    The ole Harbor Freight Pittsburg low profile jack works fine at a good price. You have to be wary of HF stuff but that one works. As for stands, no particular recommendation that I know of, just buy good ones that meet the specs (weight of the car) and have a pin for safety.
