    Hi everyone, I've been a member here off and on for years. I've had my latest ZHP for just about two years now, and after a ton of work it is ready for its next owner. Please pardon the long ad, but I wanted to be thorough and include as much information as I could. Thanks for looking.

    Recent work since I purchased the car in February 2022 at 243K miles:

    Expansion tank replaced, coolant flushed with correct BMW factory coolant
    Oil filter housing gasket replaced
    VANOS oil line replaced (OEM)
    Valve cover gasket replaced
    Timing chain tensioner spring replaced (BMW)
    Fuel pump housing "ring" gasket replaced
    New ZHP shifter knob and BMW factory short shifter installed
    All shifter bushings and rubber shifter boot replaced with OEM
    Driveline guibo replaced (OEM)
    Driveline center support bearing replaced (OEM)
    All three differential bushings replaced with Powerflex polyurethane bushings
    Rear trailing arm bushings replaced with Powerflex polyurethane bushings
    Transmission and differential fluid replaced (Liqui-Moly)
    Rear lower control arms replaced (Lemforder)
    Front and rear sway bar bushings and end links replaced (Lemforder)
    Inner and outer tie rods replaced (Lemforder)
    Front lower control arm bushings replaced (Lemforder)
    Oil pan gasket replaced at local BMW specialty shop
    Engine mounts replaced at local BMW specialty shop (Lemforder)
    Steering shaft rubber coupling replaced (BMW)
    All power steering hoses replaced at local BMW specialty shop (BMW)
    Transmission mounts replaced (Lemforder)
    All belts replaced
    Lower radiator hose replaced (OEM)
    Heater control valve replaced (BMW)
    Windshield washer pump replaced
    Cowl trim replaced, wiper arms repainted
    Cabin air filter replaced
    Rear upper shock mounts replaced, shock mount reinforcement plates added
    Wheels refinished to brand-new condition in July 2022, new center caps installed
    Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires in stock sizes installed at 245K miles
    Wheel alignment at 247K miles


    Previous maintenance:

    All window regulators replaced in 2016, at about 225K miles
    Radiator, water pump, thermostat done in 2016 at about 225K miles
    Power steering pump replaced in 2018
    Battery replaced in December 2020
    Shocks/struts replaced with Bilstein H4s in 2020
    NGK spark plugs installed in May 2021 (likely around 240K miles)


    Remaining issues:

    ABS pump failed, so ABS and stability control are inoperative
    Cloth starting to come loose from A and B pillars, rear headliner drooping
    Wear spot in driver’s side bolster
    Occasional suspension rattle from right rear
    Airbag light on due to passenger seat weight sensor failed (sensor bypass widget included with sale)
    Sunroof shade slider off track (sunroof works fine)
    Front passenger window inoperative (likely the electric motor since regulators were done recently, a replacement motor is included with the car)
    Clear coat failed on door handles, small marks in clear coat on trunk lid
    Paint scrapes on underside of front bumper
    Rear ashtray missing

    Freshly rewrapped leather steering wheel with M color stitching (never installed, $375 value)
    Full set of new BavSound speakers (unopened, $400 value)

    As often happens with these cars, there appears to be a notable difference between the current market's price and the price I am willing to accept. Therefore I am keeping the car, but I'm not sure how to delete this thread.
