I have one on my lude and it moves sooooooo much just driving the car. I think the hoods with the vents would help with that, but its still unsettling when it looks like its going to just fly up on the highway at any time. I've had my CF hood for 7 years and its only flown up once with minimal damage, and that was because it was only partially latched and I didn't realize it (long story). Aftermarket ones all fit differently, some are a lot worse than others. Personally, If shopping for a CF hood, I would stick with something brand name that has some R & D behind the name and a really good re-inforced striker/latch that way you don't have an "incident" on the highway. I know too many kids who have bought knock off CF hoods from various vendors and ebay, who have had them lift and bashed the windshield/roofline.
My garage: 08' Alpine White 135i Coupe putting out 405 wHP to BOTH rear wheels. 05' LeMans Blue X5 4.8is that I like to call Truckmeat. Socketheads 05' Dinan tuned ZHP, and a few Hondas to keep it real.
Or a CF hood like on eleanor the mustang in gone in 60 seconds, so looking around on the vorsteiner site the CF hood they sell is facelift version and if m3s are pre facelift but if you click coupe it doesnt show a hood only under sedan so does that mean all the hoods that people sell form them for the m3s are facelift there for wouldnt fit them sense they are pre facelift
