    3/4 ain't bad...

Well, yes it is when 3 out of 4 is how many refinished wheels you drove home with after expecting 4/4. They're sending the 4th Monday.

All in all I'm happy with the wheels. The finish quality seems very high. There is some texture on the insides of the spokes, though. And though I can't tell until they're on the car, I swear the color is different than stock. I swear this looks like it has a hint of anthracite in it. I'm very happy with the color, whatever it is.

I used wheel collision center in PA. Price ended up around $700 because three of the 4 wheels were slightly bent. When I say slightly, I mean they were a "1" on their "1-7" scale, "7" meaning badly bent. They said a "1" is easily countered with weights, but I had them make them perfect anyway.

Teaser shot until I can get 'em all mounted next week:

Am I crazy, or do they look slightly different than the stock color?

Thanks! I'm pumped to get them on the car.

They look to have a slightly darker look. Very subtle. I'm digging it.

Paint, I think. Though he said something about a powder coated clear coat? Is that possible? I obviously know nothing about this.

Good decision on getting the wheels re-straightened.

Can't wait to see them mounted!
