Installing Ipod aux plus charging capabilty Done! doityourself

Hi guys sorry for the long Hiatus life has been real busy as of late. I finally got around to installing an aux input along with factory style charging connector in my wife's 2004 ZHP.
I purchased the aux input cord from Bav auto p/n for the cord without factory nav is
82 11 0 149 389 ,in addition I installed an Ipod aux cord I purchased from Auto toys .com p/n 11475 . Coupling these two cords together made for a nice clean installation and solved my Iphone charging problem .It was about a 1.5 hour job pretty basic really.
One note is I wanted the Iphone to be able to be charged with the car in the off position so I just robbed power from the flashlight socket, you would need to find another source if you want your power switched.
Here is a link to the photo's I took while doing the job, I am very happy with the results .

    Well done!

Having access to the tunes you want to listen to makes the daily grind a little easier to tolerate.

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Nice work. One of these days I'd like to install the aux input. As for using the flashlight for unswitched power....I'm pretty sure that power shuts down after about 15 minutes. At least it does on my car.
