Last shot of the carbon trunk before it gets repainted back to TiAg. Weather has been rather...odd...here in VA. So that'll be getting painted in the washroom. It's rather ridiculously large for some reason. Think the previous home owner used it as a pantry. I'll tell the fiance after the fact. Plenty of time while the car is hiding for the winter. Hood will get the same treatment later on.

Eventually I'll be pulling the front bumper off and either repairing or replacing it. After many, maaany cross country trips and track days, it's at the end of its lifespan.

I'd love to know what kind of repairs you will do to your bumper and how. My bumper is also at the end of its ropes, and i want to try to prolong replacing it if i can.

Pretty much sanding the whole thing down and repainting. There's a hairline crack under my passenger fog lamp. That, I'll probably use some fiberglass on the underside to seat it and maaaybe a polyurethane to seal the top side of the crack. Then sand it again. It's worked on a few projects before for minute issues. But, I'll need to make sure it will play nice with the surrounding bumper plastics and whatever base coat I use.

Next thing is to look at the plastics behind the bumper. When these things get old, the clips mounted on the bumper will break, causing the edges to pull away from the underside of the headlights. I'm hoping anything I find behind it is repaireable to some extent.

Honestly? If it's too far gone, I may just bite the bullet and pick up another ZHP bumper in the primer and start fresh.
