    Werd... but when taken care of they are the bestest! Mine looks worse than most here but at 217,xxx miles it is super reliable still. I expect at least 500,000 miles out of this car or it will be considered a lemon imo.

    One of the two parking brakes on my zhp was broke since I bought it at 115k Haven’t bothered fixing it. Seems to replace?

    I did a full parking brake rebuild last fall or this spring, I can’t remember which. My adjuster wheel was just a big, seized, rusty mess ( Canada). The only part to give me any grief was stretching the second spring once the first one is in place.

    Not having to find perfectly level places to park made it worth the effort.

    Drums just suck to work on all around compared to disc. Luckily, I had a drum brake kit laying around. Made the springs a piece of cake.
    It is definitely worth the hassle.
