Thanks! I'm actually about to re-do that TV. The Christmas decorations are hiding the wires, but they are there. Also, the 10' LED backlight doesn't go all the way around this 60" TV. It is just at the top and the sides. I have a new 18' to put around the back when I pull it down and install a power outlet and a cable outlet.

Here is a pic of the bedroom with the 10' LED light going all the way around my 42" bedroom TV, this picture doesn't do it justice, you can tell that the living room doesn't have the backlight at the bottom where as the bedroom does. I like the bedroom better, also, no wires exposed in the bedroom. I almost went with blue LED's, but orange just seemed to fit my house better in both rooms.

I have this strip of LED bias lighting on the back of my living room TV:

    http://www.amazon.com/Antec-HDTV-51-...dp/B007TG5EG8/

The color temperature is (supposedly) the best for reducing eye strain while watching in a dim/dark room. I love it!

Thanks Travis for the link. That's cool it's HDMI powered. I've seen several kits on eBay that change colors and come with a remote. Interesting that it also reduces eye strain.
