Your car is really clean. Do you mind sharing your techniques and the products you use?

Absolutely. My paint seems to be well taken care of from my PO, but other than that I've used M105 & M205 for swirls (which have since come back) and I think I used Mothers Sealant after that. Then I used some Chemical Guys XXX paste wax (awesome stuff) and this time, I used Sonax on my rims to clean them up. I only use Sonax maybe 5-6 times a year. Maybe once every few weeks. The stuff is expensive so I use it gingerly.

For my engine bay... well... I used WD-40. There will always be debates on whether or not using it is a good idea.. but I spray and coat everything and then rinse off. After that I wipe everything down with one of my older and dirtier microfiber towels.

Sounds great. Will get into the detailing once I get my house and have a garage. I am lagging it a bit. I just wash it every 2 weeks. I use an $11 Meguiar's soap and dry it with a microfiber towel. I use a wheel cleaner in combination with the car wash soap to clean the wheels. The wheels are a real PITA. I do those last as I'm just sitting down and it literally takes like 10 min/wheel.

I park away from cars whenever possible to avoid sings and try to park in the shade when possible. I try to stay away from where birds crap all over the vehicle.

I wash with armor all wash.. no big. I dry it with a waffle towel and I freaking love that thing.. it does an awesome job. I also have a normal car spong that I split in half and while it was ripping in half.. one side ripped unevenly and it's the perfect size to fit in between the spokes. Using a lug nut cleaner works well on our rims as well. You can usually get one of those at your local car store like autozone or advance auto
