    Friend in an E60 528i (stock) wanted to race, did two pulls from a roll in first gear. Both times I pulled away about a car length almost immediately. The first pull I thought for sure I just had a bit of a jump on him, but then we went a second time and I still pulled a car length pretty quick. Wasn't even going to redline, she had another 3-400RPMs in her, not bad for a 210k mile car

    I agree with John - it is a little surprising. It looked like he wasn't even really trying! I couldn't tell - were there two passengers in the 528, too?

    Yeah that's what I thought too but we ran a second time and I still beat him by about a car length. Only one passenger in the 528 too. Thing does probably weigh as much as a boat though! It is an E60...

    E60 528i has similar horsepower but 200lb ft of torque on a couple hundred lbs heavier chassis.

    Finally got a chance to clean the ZHP, and man she was DIRTY. The outside needs a lot of work still I'm planing on clay barring, a 2 step polish and a good coat of wax soon. Inside is in great shape and it's always usually pretty clean, I really need a new steering wheel soon, and maybe do a leatherique treatment soon.
