Has anyone ever refinished their Style 135 wheels?

I found this company, Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists, that will completely straighten and refinish all four of my wheels for $800. Sounds like a pretty awesome deal, as simply straightening them alone would be $500 from a local shop.

Has anyone ever had this done before from these guys? They are all around the nation and they come directly to your place to do it. I really think the Style 135 wheels seriously make the car, and I wanna be sure that they'll be refinished to look with the exact color. I'm trying to make sure that they look essentially brand-new.

Marc recently had his wheels refinished. Marc ended up paying $700 to get his refinished and straightened. Sounds as though you're in the ballpark, Zell.

or... you can buy these off a fellow member, sell yours locally on craigslist and not pay that much for some nicely painted wheels. just my 2c if you're gonna refinish and straighten.
    EDIT:
    forgot to link you.

Yep, I did it. I'm happy with the results, though after a week of driving they're now anthracite thanks to the brake dust. Only complaint is the finish has some decent orange peel to it, but that's the sort of thing only people like us notice.

Yes I did as well, Same franchise company did the work. Mine did not need straightening just cosmetic touch up so the cost was $400. They were refinished in a Gunmetal finish. I have thread with pics on site.

I had mine done a couple of months ago as well by Wheels America. It was $130 per wheel for "remanufacture"/powder coat.
It's a slightly different silver but you wouldn't know unless you had the original next to it (which is how I noticed). Also, as others said, there is a slight orange peel in some areas.

Overall I'm very happy with the results.

^ Bav auto also has a paint pen that can be used for minor scratches.

Not sure if it's any good.
