    ^^hehe.

I'm biased. Have heard good things about the Escorts. I have no experience, though. I figure they're great, though.

We have a V1 for each of our cars.

So, to rephrase: whoever has the radar detectors is out front!

I really do want to sell my Escort to get a V1. Just because I want the arrows.

You gotta be careful when buying Escorts (and I know that's the same about V1s). The 8500x50 Rev5 can out perform a new 9500i radar detector. I got mine used for $130, got it upgraded and serviced...and still was cheaper than a $500 one

Marcus, I don't think you need all of the V1s in your cars...trade

Kyle, those arrows are great. It's what got me hooked. I know where my bogeys are coming from.

Exactly. That's why I want one.

I don't need anything that's higher performance (Highest confirmed Range on my 8500x50-> X Band was 7 miles, K Band was 5 Miles, Ka Band was 3 Miles). I just don't feel like looking in my mirrors and trying to figure it out.

I have an escort. It works well enough. And no, radar detectors are not legal in VA.

not legal in VA or DC. everywhere else along the eastern seaboard you can use radar detectors.

You can go here to see a complete list of where it is legal and illegal to use: http://www.buyradardetectors.com/blo...ors_legal.aspx
