    M3 Fenders?

How much wider are the M3 fenders vs ours? I plan on doing the csl front bumper, hood, and trunk...and have been debating doing the fenders and having the whole car repainted. Would the rears need to be widened too? I know a guy who can do that w/out a hitch, but it would cost me.

I would think some bodywork would be required to make it look right. Isn't the M3 overall a little wider than our sedans? Do you have a sedan or coupe?

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

M3 is wider than the sedan. I have both...

Check out this conversion....the best example of an E46 M3 sedan I have ever seen! A true E46 M3 sedan

I would love to have an E46 M3 sedan like this!

I have a coupe, not a sedan. I'd love to do a V8 swap in it as well. I have built many cars so I understand the work involved to a point. But this is my first BMW so I'm just feeling out options and getting some friendly advice

Yeah, what was amazing is that this guy took two perfect cars and transformed his sedan into what BMW should have produced from the factory. By looking at this thread you could see the transformation. I was sorry to see a beautiful Oxford Green M3 die but her parts went to even greater use inside an E46 sedan. This is a great example of "money is no object" to do the transformation the right way. This is, IMHO, a true M3 sedan from the ground up.

If you're going to do this then this is the right way to do it...
