Bought this for my mother's car as a mother's day present. Didn't realize that my parents kept their old pre-1982 Sears garage door lifters when they recently replaced the garage doors; so it wont have any use in her car. I don't have a use for it either, as I don't have a garage.
I've tested it, and it works fine with my grandparent's newer lifter. So no problems with it whatsoever. Cosmetically, it's in great condition (see pictures). All three buttons light up. It is rolling-code supported. Every E46 should be prewired for homelink; just check your trunk lid for the symbol.
