Thread: Backseat room?

    Backseat room?

How good is the backseat room in a 330ci? I wanted a sedan after having dismal backseat room in my G35, but are bmw's the same? How's the headroom? Legroom? Do passengers heads around 6' tall touch the glass? Thanks!!

    Headroom is fine.

Leg room is tight. Think economy airline seating as far as knee clearance.

My kids are fine back there (12 and 9), but I wouldn't want adults back there for more than a short drive.

Not sure about the ci. I have an 325 and the back seat room is a bit small.
Appropriate for adults (4 total) but not too roomy. My 1993 Camry had more room in the back.
I am not 6 feet tall but a lot of the members are (I think). So I guess they fit.

    525i, 530i, 545i? They come with 6 speed manual:

I think back seat room is plentiful, but that's because most people in the driver's seat have weird seating positions and tend to slide their seats all the way back. If everyone had my seating position, the rear passenger's knee wouldn't touch the seat.

    And I'm 6'1".

    Yep- that would be me.

Seen a few too many knees through the dash board and face too close to the airbag wrecks.

I like plenty of space between my body and the impact surfaces.
