First major trip with my ZHP

Drove a combined distance of 235.6 miles. Avg speed was 54.6 mpg was 26.9 and i used exactly half a tank. now this inculded some "spirited" moments. hitting speeds of 135 on one ocasion . does the amount of gas used sound right?

Yes.....but I doubt you would get 235 miles out of the second half of a tank.

Impressive numbers in fact. Thanks for sharing.

This reminds me of the 230 mile trip I took on my car. Except that my engine was is such a bad shape that it only netted me 21mpg...

I have 280 miles since my last fill and the MPG readout is sitting at 30.2. That's with about 1/4 city and 3/4 local 2 lanes (50 to 65 mph or so). This is a little above average though, my MPG is usually around 28 to 29. Can't complain at all about those numbers.

yea, mine is usually 28 -29 on road trips.. although I haven't checked it in a long time and I installed some Dinan stuff since then... simple observation hasn't noticed a difference though

I saw this thread last night and paid attention today to where I was at 1/2 tank on the way home today from MN. I was at 217 miles with the cruise set at 78. As others have mentioned, I also get 28-29 on the highway.
