    ZHP fog lamp trim?

It has come to my attention that I am missing the fog light trim on both sides. In my defense, I always thought they looked a little naked hanging there. Seems to be a common problem, so I thought I would try to get some feedback or words of wisdom for a more permanent installation of the new pair I will be ordering soon.

Also, are these pieces ordinarily painted to match the car? Post pics if you have any. Here is one of mine, sans cover/trim piece:

No, they are not painted from the factory. They are supposed to be two black plastic frames. I can't get a part# for you at tge moment, but luckily they're cheap (about $5-7 a piece).

It's not the car you drive, it's how you drive it.

Ok, thanks. Starting to suspect mine were jacked -- I don't think they have always been missing since I got the car in early '09.

Can anyone shed any light on why these seem to be MIA on a fair number of ZHP's? I ask because I sure would hate to find out they fell off a month after I install the new covers.

You can probably order them through Umnitza, or just at your local dealership. Just make sure you get the correct ones for our M-Tech bumper, the M3 ones won't fit, although the actual fog lights are the same. Here's a pic of mine, they are black.

I don't know what's going on with the photos. I too am unable to see them (on an iPhone in my case) but they're visible on my desktop.

They do not come painted....and....that's the way they are procured. Black. Most of us leave them black...however some mod them by color matching.
