I used bmwnav.net for 2011 maps and a firmware upgrade. $49 for both map discs and the firmware upgrade.

Just be aware that if you're not running the latest firmware version, the new maps will cause your Nav to lock up.

    Ask me how I know.

I upgraded my maps and s/w. IIRC, bimmernav is just for the s/w, not the actual maps. I bought my maps from someone online, just search and you'll find a few. The site I bought from doesn't exist anymore. Also check out xoutpost.com and the thread below for more info. FYI, you can buy the maps from BMW but they are expensive.

BTW, you can do the s/w upgrade yourself for free, I have the S/W CD you can borrow if you want.

XOutpost.com usually has a burnable (ie: free download/burn) for our navs. Plus with the downloadable versions you can "hack" the firmware. You can change the initial screen image, eliminate the "accept" button press, etc..

    Ask me how I know?

I really have no idea what I am doing
