What do you mean by "up" position? Make sure that the manual dial adjuster on the dash vents is turned to the red dots and not the blue.

    Heater is not working properly

Recently I just realized that my heater does not seem to be working even when adjusting to the highest temp (91'F) it still blows cold air. After messing around I noticed the heat would work only in the up position.

Is this normal or is something wrong with the ac/heat system?

I always use the manual settings on my car. I do the same on my truck.
