Thinking about ... replacing shift boot

Looking for a simple - and inexpensive - project so it occurred to me to change the shift boot, and possibly one with some subtle ///M stitching.
I've seen some inexpensive (cheap?) faux alcantara on eBay, then checked out Leartherz. So far I'm liking what I see at Redline (www.redlinegoods.com)

    Opinions ?

That actually looks pretty good. Of course I'd be wary of putting something "cheap" in a BMW, but I'm sure you are cognoscente of that anyway.

    Look into rallyroad.net

Eric and his wife do some EXCELLENT work. When I had my E36, I picked up an alcantara shift boot from him. He even used OEM fabric.

Nice link to Colby there. I've been wondering what to do regarding my torn alacantra wheel. Love the alacantra, hate the tear. Hello re-cover

I am very happy with the job he did on mine and you can't beat his prices either. I need to get a shot in some natural lighting one of these days, keep forgetting to take one.
